Emma Blunston - Be You Be Yoga Emma is a Community based yoga teacher. However after my first Hot Yoga class at Yoga Haven Solihull, I already felt the benefits and I felt amazing!

Emma Blunston is a fully qualified trauma informed yoga teacher with over 10 years experience based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, with a focus on Mental Health awareness through the power of yoga and mindfulness. After struggling to deal with my anxiety around Three years ago, I felt that I needed to look at something which would help to balance my creative busy mind and take me away from the worry and stress that daily life can bring. My mind was so much more relaxed and stresses and worries disappeared, this in turn has made my Marketing and Graphic Design job even more creative as i am able to open my mind even further. Yoga has made me feel like a different person, inside and out, including feeling better about myself. I understand daily life much better, which gives me a greater sense that life is about being in the moment. I decided that I really wanted to share what yoga has done for me, and how it has made me feel. That’s when I decided to become a Yoga teacher. I want a chance to share my passion for making people feel good and helping people in different ways. I call Yoga ‘Magic’ as it really has transformed my life, I just can’t wait to share the magic with everyone else. My Yoga practise covers areas from the
Basics of Yoga (ASHTANGA Yoga)
Core and Building Strength
(VINYASA FLOW) Yoga
Breath (Ujjayi breathing) and so much more...

I will be looking at the Chakras and implementing them in to Yoga Practise/sequences. Im also planning on introducing and learning about Yin Yoga , Restorative Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and Children's Yoga over the next year or so... so exciting

Just a few things I've been doing most mornings while I'm healing from this horrible virus.❤️‍🩹🥹🫩

Gentle somatic movement aids your recovery from a virus by supporting blood circulation and preventing stiffness. Always respecting your body's limits to avoid intense exertion.

My favourite being the lymphatic massage around the sinuses to help move trapped fluid, stagnation and pressure.

Most importantly drink lots of water. 💦💧

It's definetly helped me loads.

It’s been a little difficult these last few weeks…💚

Self-employed life is hard, guys. Really hard. And I’ll always keep it real here. We keep going because when you truly love what you do, you just do. 🤍

I always feel into each month spiritually, and last month brought a real mix of highs and lows. Changes, transformations, tough decisions, and letting go of certain things to make space for new, wonderful things.

I’ve also struggled with low energy, both mentally and physically, illness, self-doubt and that good old imposter syndrome. These are things so many self-employed people experience on a daily basis, no matter what business you own or what path you’ve chosen.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve really had to lean into gratitude. To shift my mindset, refocus my energy and remind myself of what I already know deep down:

I was bloody born to do this.
I am a good yoga teacher.
I am exactly where I’m meant to be. 🤍

Sometimes we just need to pause, breathe, feel it all, and remind ourselves how far we’ve actually come.

So, if you’ve been feeling a little lost, tired or full of self-doubt lately you’re not alone.

Keep going.💪🏻 Gratitude is everything.

One day at a time. ✨🧘🏻

“I bet you’re so calm teaching yoga classes…” Hmmmmm. 😂

It may look like we’re calm from the outside, but trust me… yoga teachers have a million tabs open in their heads while teaching a class. 😂

Are they comfortable?
Is everyone breathing ok?
Did I explain that correctly?
Who needs a modification?
What’s the next pose?
How long have we been holding this?
Did I forget the left side? 👀
And… what song is playing next?!

So yes, we may look calm and grounded… but inside? A whole lot is going on. 😂🧘‍♀️

Anyone else relate? 🙄😏🤔

This sky tonight 🪁🌌✨

Sometimes, you just have to pause for a moment and appreciate nature exactly as it is. No filters, no editing, no need to change a thing.

There’s something so beautiful about simply taking in the world in its most natural form — just as it was meant to be. 🤍🍂
