Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre is a registered charity providing:

- Day Hospice, providing social support and respite to carers, whilst allowing patients to access outpatient palliative care services, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other services.

- Family Support Services, providing counselling, support and complimentary therapies provided from our Coppice Centre.

- Wellbein

The support we deliver to our community includes providing counselling for bereaved adults and children. 💛

We’ve been supporting Frankie, Harry and Lily after their Dad, Craig, died of cancer less than a year after his diagnosis. Harry said “Primrose has helped me to understand that life doesn’t always go right and to help me deal with my Dad dying. For Father's Day this year I would like to go fishing because my Dad liked fishing a lot.”

This we are saying a huge thank you to Michael Parry who organised a Drag Queen Quiz in memory of his Mum, Helen Parry. The event raised an incredible £1055.61 for Primrose Hospice. 💛

Michael shared: "Primrose Hospice have been an amazing to support to my mum through her battle with cancer. She made some incredible friends by going to their groups, and found a new lease of life. I'm forever grateful for everything they've done for us both."

We’re recruiting 💼 Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre is looking for a Finance Manager to join our team this August.

This is a full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours) based in Bromsgrove, with some hybrid working available.

We’re looking for someone organised, detail-focused and motivated, with strong accounting experience, who wants to make a real difference in our community. You’ll lead our finance team and help ensure our services continue to run effectively for patients and families across North-East Worcestershire.

✅ Recognised accountancy qualification
✅ Experience in a similar role (min. 2 years)
✅ Knowledge of financial systems (e.g. Sage)

Salary: £41,418 FTE
Plus pension, employee support, flexible working, free parking and more.

Today is the day! Our third Primrose Memory Walk is finally here and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Hanbury Hall to walk in celebration of their loved ones. 👣

Weather update: We are hoping the showers will hold off, but as it has been wet this week, please wear appropriate shoes!

Registration opens from 10am and our walk will be starting at 11am 💛
