Knauf Insulation UK & Ireland are taking fundraising to new heights!

We are thrilled to announce that Knauf Insulation's very own Steve Duke and Jonathan Pulman will be taking on a skydive challenge this July - with the Rainy Day Trust as their chosen charity.

⭐Every donation will help change lives, and we're hugely grateful for their commitment and generosity.

⭐Every penny they raise will go towards supporting our beneficiaries in the home improvement and home enhancement industry when it's needed most, not just in crisis but before crisis hits - providing vital support, help and training needed in times of difficulty.

Last week Anna attended the fantastic, DIY Week Awards 2026!

A room full of brilliant, passionate people who care so much about their industry and those working in it - it's genuinely heart-warming to see the home improvement industry celebrated in a big way.

The whole event was organised magnificently by the DIY Week team.

Huge congratulations to all the winners and shortlisted companies. You all deserve the spotlight!

Lots of inspiring conversations with fabulous people and a great opportunity for the Rainy Day Trust to share its mission - helping the industry live happier, healthier, more fulfilled lives: there both in crisis and before.

Anna and Roz spent the day in Bristol, delivering Barrettine's first Ambassador training session.

⭐ The Rainy Day Trust Ambassador Programme has officially launched! ⭐

Here's a few more photos from our day with IRSAP - our very first Rainy Day Trust Ambassadors to start their training.

The day included:
👉 Conversations ➡️ Tackling some tough, emotional subjects.
👉 Working through real-life scenarios.
👉 Meaningful discussions about how to show up proactively for the people around you.
👉 Purposeful implementation planning ➡️ focusing on visibility, proactiveness, and their involvement in the upcoming Rainy Day Trust wellbeing campaign.

This marks a really special moment for the Rainy Day Trust and our industry.

The first 40+ ambassadors have already booked their places across upcoming sessions over the next few months. These incredible people will be supported to develop the tools, skills and confidence to open up meaningful conversations with their fellow colleagues about wellbeing and mental health.

Meet the first cohort of Rainy Day Trust Ambassadors!

We spent the day in East Grinstead with the team at IRSAP for our (and their) very first, in-person, Rainy Day Trust Ambassadors Training session.

A huge thank you to Cara, Tracey, Johnny and Sam - you were amazing! We have no doubt that you are going to make outstanding ambassadors for your colleagues across the business.

Conversations That Matter.

Anna had a brilliant day at Toolbank's Great North Show last week.

An opportunity for the Rainy Day Trust team to meet the amazing people in the home improvement and home enhancement industry.

It was a day of:

👉 Chatting about who we are, who we're here for and why our work is so important for the industry's people and their colleagues, in those derailing moments life throws at all of us.
👉 Offering free health MOTs with our delivery partner, Wellbeing People Ltd.
👉 Sharing our new strategy ➡️ that the Rainy Day Trust is not just about crisis support - we want to be there earlier - helping this industry open up, recognise the disproportionately high mental health and su***de challenges it faces and give businesses the tools and support to put wellbeing at the heart of what they do, every day!
👉 Building strong foundations, through our ambassadors programme (more news to share on this very soon).

A huge thank you to the wonderful Toolbank team for a great event, including the brilliant casino and silent auction! Thank you to everyone who came, chatted, bid, and supported. You're helping make sure we can be there for our people.

London Marathon Reflections.
