Paths cleared, grass cut, strimming around the flower beds and benches, overhanging branches removed from the pathway. 🙂 And that's only the start ..... To be continued. Thanks to all who assisted today .... Brilliant. Look out for more opportunities to volunteer soon.

Catshill Village Meadow says a huge thank you to Vicky Jonathan, and Wayne (Spud) at JRG Garden Maintenance for donating a strimmer, lawnmower, and hedge trimmer (these are not stored locally) to help keep Catshill Village Meadow looking its best 🌞 Their support really shows how much they care about our community — and we’re incredibly grateful for their kindness and generosity 💚

Well… As we are sure you all know, our trusty grass‑cutting gear has gone walkabout!
So this Sunday, we’re looking on the bright side 😁 — if you’ve got a mower, strimmer, hedge trimmer, or anything that makes a satisfying buzz, bring it along to the meadow!Let’s show that even without our tools, we’ve still got the best tool of all — community spirit 🙂 Shears, loppers, secateurs etc also welcome. See you Sunday at 11.

Thousands of pounds' worth of equipment was taken from Catshill FC in Bromsgrove over the weekend.

Sadly thieves have targeted Catshill Village Meadow. Overnight, ..... Someone breached the park gates, smashed the locks on our container and stole vital mowing and brush cutting equipment — including a rotary mower, a brand‑new ride-on mower and another belonging to Catshill FC. This equipment is what keeps the meadow safe, tidy and usable for everyone. This is a devastating loss for a small volunteer‑run charity like ours. If you have CCTV, doorbell footage, dashcam recordings, or heard or saw anything unusual, please get in touch with us, or notify the police by calling 101. Please share this post — the more eyes, the better our chance of finding out who was responsible and maybe even recover the much-needed equipment

We'd love to see you. 🙂 On Sunday 14th June at 11 AM, the Catshill Village Meadow team will be out for a volunteer tidy‑up morning — pruning, cutting, strimming and giving the space a good spruce‑up.
We’d really love to meet more of our Catshill community and local residents, so if you can spare a little time, come down, say hello, and lend a hand.🙂

Every bit of help keeps our meadow thriving for everyone.If you have any pruning, trimming or grass‑cutting tools, please feel free to bring them along — they’ll be put to good use.
