People's Trust for Endangered Species

Mammals are typically nocturnal or crepuscular which means they're active around sunrise and sunset, during hours of twilight. 🌇🌤️
The best time to spot mammals is early morning, when it's quiet without the human bustle that persists in towns and cities through the evening. And as the light improves, there is the opportunity to observe still undisturbed tracks or other signs. 🐾🔍
A quarter of Britain’s native mammals are at risk. But by recording sightings and signs of those you share your towns and cities with, you can help protect their future.
Take part in our survey now 👇

Help us to understand how wild mammals share our urban green space by joining our Living with Mammals survey. Record mammals near you.
