🎗️💛 Myles Update 💛🎗️

Myles has had a lovely half-term, spending lots of quality time with family and friends. 🥰

We recently had a phone call with his cochlear implant support worker, who explained how the process will work moving forward.

Jon and I are feeling very nervous about this. We were told that if Myles is approved for bilateral implants, the surgery will likely remove any hearing he has left. We know that isn't a lot, but it is still something very important to him. 💛

This also means that while Myles is recovering from surgery, he will be completely unaided for at least 7-10 days. We know how difficult this will be for him, and the thought of it is quite scary. However, as always, we will do whatever is best for Myles and support him every step of the way. 💪💛

This month is a big one, with appointments scheduled with most of Myles' consultants. As always, we will keep everyone updated. 🏥📅

We hope everyone had a wonderful half-term! ☀️

With love,

The Loves 💛🎗️

To all our new followers after Charlie’s incredible JOGLE challenge, welcome to The Amelia-Mae Foundation. 🤍🩵🩷

What Charlie has done has brought so many new people to this page, and we are so grateful to have you here.

We wanted to pin this post so anyone new to Team AMF can understand who we are, why we exist, and why your support means so much.

The Amelia-Mae Foundation was created in memory of Amelia-Mae Davies, a brave little girl who sadly lost her battle with Neuroblastoma at just two years old.

Her family turned unimaginable heartbreak into something powerful by creating a charity that now supports other children and families facing the same devastating journey.

Neuroblastoma is a rare and aggressive childhood cancer that many people have never heard of until it affects a family they love.

That is why awareness matters.

Every follow, share, comment, donation and fundraiser helps more people learn about Neuroblastoma, Amelia-Mae’s story and the support available to families who need it.

Today, The Amelia-Mae Foundation provides financial grants, emotional support and practical help to families facing Neuroblastoma.

From helping with the unexpected costs that come with treatment, to offering support during some of the most difficult days imaginable, our aim is simple:

To make sure families know they are not alone.

So if you are new here because of Charlie and his incredible run from John O’Groats to Land’s End, thank you.

By following this page, sharing our posts, supporting our fundraisers and helping us raise awareness, you are already making a difference.

This page is a place to share Amelia-Mae’s legacy, celebrate our amazing supporters, raise awareness of Neuroblastoma and show the real impact your kindness has on families across the UK.

Thank you for being here.

Neuroblastoma Support. Always. 🩷🤍🩵

And now there is “just” 20 miles to go… or as Charlie said himself, “just a park run.” 🤯😂 Charlie Chandler’s LAST FULL DAY IS DONE. 825 miles completed.

Tomorrow is the final push. 🤍🩵🩷
We need all your messages of support in the comments!

What this man has done over the last few weeks is almost impossible to put into words. The miles, the pain, the heat, the hills, the early starts, the late finishes and the sheer determination to keep going for children and families affected by neuroblastoma has been unbelievable.

A massive thank you to all of Charlie’s sponsors who have helped make this challenge possible, including , Friends Fighting Cancer, Leigh Park Boxing Gym and every single business, person and organisation who has backed him, supported him and believed in what he is doing.

And a huge thank you to the incredible support team around him.

Andy, Clare, Amy and Mel.

Driving.
Tracking.
Cooking his food.
Keeping him safe.
Keeping him fed.
Keeping him going when things got tough.

Tomorrow, Charlie takes on the final stretch.

He’s got peas on his knees and he’s ready to go. 😂

One last push.

Let’s get him to that finish line.

SECOND TO LAST DAY.

Charlie is currently running through Cornwall with the end finally in sight.

Charlie has now run over 700 miles. That is more than 26 marathons, around 1.4 million steps and roughly the length of over 12,000 football pitches.

In distance alone, that is also like climbing Snowdon nearly 60 times.

All in just over two weeks.

Charlie has nearly raised £11,000 for The Amelia-Mae Foundation, helping us support children and families going through neuroblastoma when they need it most.

Please, if you can, donate today and help push him over that £11,000 mark.

Every pound matters.
Every share matters.
Every message keeps him going.

Over £5,000 raised in memory of Jasmine-Anna 🩷🤍🩵

What an incredible, emotional and powerful day.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise, support, donate, perform, attend, buy raffle tickets, give prizes and make this event such a beautiful tribute to Jasmine-Anna.

To raise over £5,000 is absolutely amazing, and every single penny will help The Amelia-Mae Foundation continue supporting children and families affected by neuroblastoma.

This money will go towards helping families through some of the hardest days imaginable, providing support, comfort and moments of relief when they need it most.

Jasmine-Anna’s memory has helped create something truly special, and we are so grateful to everyone who made it happen.

Thank you 🩷🤍🩵
