Autism Together is a charity and service provider, offering specialist support to autistic people for over 55 years. We'd like to say a massive thank you to Baker & Baker for their fantastic support of Autism Together!

The leading manufacturer of baked goods has a site in Bromborough, not far from our head office, and have generously gifted delicious cakes and donuts to our services in the past. 🍰🍩

So we were thrilled when the business recently donated £500 to our charity. 🥳

Engagement Officer Chloe Jones popped along to their Wirral site this week to see staff there and say thanks for all their support. 🤝

Say hello to our latest group of new starters, joining Autism Together this June. 👏

They recently began their induction training, ahead of joining their new teams across our services. We wish them all a very happy and successful employment with us.

If you know someone who could be a great fit for Autism Together, do let them know we have a range of roles available now. 😊

Our in-house training team give our new support staff all the knowledge and skills needed to start a successful career within our charity. And - we pay our new starters while they're training!

Some of the people we support in our Day Services had a lovely trip out to Tam O'Shanter Urban Farm in Bidston recently. 🐐

Andrew particularly enjoyed the visit and talked about the experience on his own podcast show that he makes each week! 🎙️

Looks like everyone had a brilliant time.

This week we held our disco night for June! 🕺

The people we support who headed over to Bromborough Pool to dance and sing with us had a great time. 🎉

Julie, who runs the monthly evening event, told us that the music chosen this month by the people we support was very eclectic… ranging from My Old Man's A Dustman to Encore Une Fois by Sash! - and everything in between.

Sounds like our sort of night! 😊👍

At the end of May we had some fun, celebrating National Biscuit Day! 🍪

We encouraged our teams and services to get involved in their own biscuity activities – biscuit tastings, dunking competitions, and biscuit making too!

The people we support didn’t disappoint, creating some fantastic biscuit designs and decorations and then entering our competition. There was a gift hamper of tea-break treats up for grabs for the winning service… 🫖

Congratulations to everyone over at Giles Shirley Hall Day Service in Bromborough Pool Village for serving up the best decorated biscuits! As you can see from our photo, they were made up with their win! 🎉
