🎄🎨 Time to get creative! 🎨🎄

The Christmas card templates should have now made their way home to you, so why not make it a little after-school or weekend activity? ✏️✨

Think:
🎅 Father Christmas
⛄ Snowmen
🦌 Reindeer
🎄 Christmas trees
❄️ Winter scenes
🐧 Or something completely unique!

Please return finished designs by Monday 19th October so we can get them sent off to be turned into your child’s very own Christmas cards. ❤️

You can return them to school, give them to a Friends committee member, or pop them in our Friends postbox between the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds. 📬

We can’t wait to see what the children create! 🎄✨

🎄✨ Our first fundraiser of 2026/27 is here!✨🎄

We’re delighted to announce our Christmas Card Fundraiser!🎅🎨

Christmas card design templates will be sent home from today. We would love for your children to get creative and return their completed designs before half term so we can send them off to the printers in time. 🎄✏️

Once the printer has set everything up, you’ll be able to order your very own personalised Christmas cards through a really easy ordering process.

And the best part? ❤️ The Friends of Castle Hill will receive a commission from every order, helping us work towards our fundraising target and supporting our school community!

📮 **How to return your designs:**
• Hand them back to school
• Give them to a member of the Friends of Castle Hill committee
• Pop them through our new postbox, located between the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds! 📬

We can’t wait to see all the wonderful, creative designs! 🎨🎄

🚨WE NEED YOU!🚨

Could you spare a little time to help make a BIG difference at Castle Hill?

With our AGM coming up later this month, we’re looking for new parents, carers and members of our school community to join the Friends of Castle Hill committee. 💙

We’ve had an amazing year — raising funds for the school, putting on brilliant events and creating lots of fun memories for the children. But we want to do even more! 🎉

And that’s where you come in…

👉 Help organise fun events
👉 Come up with new ideas
👉 Help raise money for things that benefit our children
👉 Get involved as much (or as little) as you can

You don’t need to know anything about running a committee. You don’t need loads of spare time. And you definitely don’t need to be an expert!

If you care about Castle Hill and want to help make school life even better for the children, we’d love to have you on board.

💬 Not sure what’s involved? Come and have a chat with us — completely informal, no commitment and no scary committee jargon! 😂

📩 Interested? Send us a message on Facebook or [email protected]

Come and join the Friends — we’d love to have you! ❤️

🌟 What a year we've had!🌟

As another school year comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge thank you to every parent, carer, grandparent, volunteer, local business and supporter who has helped Friends of Castle Hill this year.

Together, you've helped us raise an incredible £24,954.93

Thanks to your support, we've been able to contribute towards swimming lessons, school trips, music tuition, reading books, Year 6 leavers' gifts, Reception book bags, new gazebos, musical instruments, a new sound system, picnic benches and, most significantly, our fantastic new outdoor classroom.

Every event you've attended, every donation you've made and every hour you've volunteered has made a real difference to the children at Castle Hill.

This year's events generated £3,004 profit, with our Brockworth 3 Peaks Challenge raising an amazing £2,367 – a fantastic achievement!

We're incredibly proud of everything we've accomplished together, but we're not stopping there. We already have exciting ideas for next year and hope to raise even more so we can continue investing in opportunities and facilities that benefit every child in our school.

Thank you for being part of such an amazing school community. We can't wait to see what we can achieve together in 2026/27! 💙💛
