This is what Digital Bridge is all about:

You volunteer 1 day per week for 6 weeks to coach an older person in the use of modern technology and in return you'll find that the most amazing things will start to happen.
You'll find that you are appreciated and valued - the older folk will look forward to seeing you each week.
You'll begin to recognize that your IT knowledge and skills, which you've taken for granted up until now, can be put to good use. You'll start to gain confidence as you become better at explaining things and demonstrating your skills.
You'll gain new skills because you'll be working hard to try to think of ways to explain things better to the older person and this will help you develop your powers of communication.
You'll find you get on quite well with the older generation - not your mum and dad's generation, but more your gran's and granddad"s - they're a bit rebellious at times and have some great stories to tell!
