Future Faces is delighted to support the VRiMS initiative and collaborate with Prof Jag Dhanda of Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and Brighton University Medical School.Fidelis Mbunda and Vihar Kotecha from Mwanza will attend the next programme in Guildford in September to be trained in the utility of Extended Reality in surgical training for low resource settings and low to middle income countries. They will be joined by surgeons from Kenya and Uganda.

They are VRiMS Future Faces Global Surgery Fellows attending the next VRiMs19 course in Guildford. They will join Professor Jag Dhanda at the VRiMS 19 hands-on cadaveric course and will also help to create immersive content in Swahilli.

They will be trained to use the VRiMS Total XR Solution with the full hardware and software to enable immersive training in Tanzania donated by FUTURE FACES.
