The GAP Project We meet needs within our community by providing activities and support for individuals and families.

The Gap Project in Broadstairs is a vibrant and innovative charity serving the local community, in an area of deprivation, using the fantastic facilities of Queens Road Baptist Church. The ethos of the Gap Project is to provide a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment. Our person-centred approach enables everybody to have the opportunity to have a mentor to support them in fulfilling their potential.

Congratulations to superstars Sam, Noah & Ted for winning the annual Scout award for fundraising. The boys organised a bake sale as part of their ‘Grow a Pound’ fundraiser for The Gap Project back in Easter. Thank you boys!

Rev Ravi Holy, a former drug addict turned Vicar and Comedian, scooped first place at Canterbury Festival’s comedy competition in 2016. He was also voted Funniest Vicar by the stars of The Inbetweeners after performing on The One Show, and also took to the stage in front of 400 people for annual stand-up contest ‘So You Think You're Funny’.

Ravi will be joining us here in Broadstairs on the 14th October and we hope you will too! All proceeds will go to our charitable projects here in Broadstairs.

Join us on 28th September (last Monday of the month) from 3.30-5.30pm for a my amazing body themed Family Cafe at Queens Road Baptist Church in Broadstairs!

Family Cafe is our monthly themed event for families to enjoy time together in a relaxed and welcoming space. Each month has a different theme with lots of themed crafts, fun activities, bible story and games for children and adults to enjoy together. We finish the evening with a free teatime meal for the whole family, giving everyone the chance to sit, eat, and chat in a friendly café-style setting.

You are welcome to come along for fun, food, and family time!

Our creepy claws event with free breakfast is this Thursday, please only come if you have booked.

Information for those who have ALREADY booked:

When you arrive we will give you a colour token for your timeslot to see the creatures.

If you coming for 9:15am slot, breakfast will be provided after the session.

If you are coming for 10:45am slot, breakfast will be available before but not after.

A free breakfast is provided for children only.

Please arrive on time for timeslot that you have booked. All our sessions are fully booked and Creepy Claws have a limit of 20 people per session.

After you have seen the animals,

If for any reason you can longer attend the event, please let us know.

🎨 Crafts in the Community Café

From outdoor adventures and amazing animals to music, gardening and creative fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Some activities have limited spaces, so book early! We can’t wait to welcome you this summer!
