Urgent notice – the work planned by Anglian Water to start in Church Street, Briston on 16 February 2026 will not now go ahead owing to circumstances beyond the company’s control. The work has been rescheduled for Easter 2027. This work cannot take place before then as there is a summer embargo in Briston.

The firework committee

Would like to thank all their volunteers that help at the fireworks because without them this event really wouldn’t be able to go ahead so thank you very much.

Also thank you Andrew Graves and Vhris Lakey and your team who spread all day building the fire in their own time. Not only do they build the fire but they stay with it, put a fence around and then a few days later clear the remains away. Without these people we wouldn’t have these great events in our village so thank you very much.

Briston Parish Council are holding a Christmas party for the children of the village.

It’s Sunday 14th December 2025

Starts at 2:30pm at The Pavillion.

Sam the magic man will be there 🪄✨

Party Food and the big man himself Father Christmas 🎅🎅 I’ve also heard he might be bringing one of his elf’s 🧝‍♀️
This is a free event

As you know the village is big so it’s a first come first serve basis. Please message me with your children’s name and age and if they have any food allergies. 🎄🎄🤶🤶🎄
