The next Guild meeting is Saturday 11th July 2026.

This meeting Frances is going to demonstrate how you do solar dyeing and dyeing using food colourings such as Kool Aid.

If you wish to have a go, bring a small sample of spun yarn.

The session on eco-dyeing has been deferred until the September meeting.

The Guild's next meeting will be on Saturday 8th June at the usual place. The topic this month is concentrating on spinning. Paulette will be bring some different fleece for people to try.

The next meeting of the Avon Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers is on the 9th March at Long Ashton.
Our AGM is in the morning. Volunteers needed as committee members - to help with things such as the library.
In the afternoon we are hvaing a talk and demonstration from the Distaff Spinners - spinning flax.

The next meeting of the Avon Guild is on 10th February 2024 in the Bowls Pavilion at Long Ashton Commeunity Centre, starting at 10:30.
This month's meeting is about making use of that stash under your bed. Ideas for creating thnigs out of fleece, fibres and fabrics.
