We're looking for community experts to join our Trustee Board.

Our Trustees are a group of people that help guide and protect our charity. Every Trustee brings their own set of skills and experiences to shape our work.

Now, we're looking for people who feel a strong connection to their communities, with a good understanding of local people's needs. This is to help us improve our service for the communities we serve.

We're particularly interested in hearing from people with lived experience of social inequality, or people from our catchment area (St Pauls, Ashley, and East Bristol).

This is a voluntary role, with benefits to you, your CV, and your community.

Weโ€™re delighted to share that St Pauls Advice Centre has been awarded three years of funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for our new project, Fairer Futures.

This funding will help us expand rights-based advice and advocacy for communities facing poverty, inequality and poor health across Bristol, with a particular focus on low-income families, racially minoritised communities, disabled people and migrants with insecure status.

Through Fairer Futures, we will strengthen access to advice in trusted community spaces, deepen community engagement, and continue building more holistic, community-rooted support.

We are incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund and to National Lottery players for making this possible. Thank you also to our staff, volunteers, partners and communities whose trust, commitment and insight continue to shape our work every day.

Together, we are working towards fairer futures for our communities.
