We're a Bristol-based cycling charity (1077575). Our mission is to help more people experience the benefits of cycling – transforming lives and the environment.

We know that cycling is a convenient, healthy, low stress, low cost, low carbon, sociable and community-friendly way to move around. ✨ Give your bike a second life with a little help from Pickering’s Bikes!

Big shoutout to Pickering’s Bikes for teaming up with Life Cycle to turn unused bikes into a cause for good.💙

You can drop off your pre-loved bike at Pickering’s Bikes workshop in Swadlincote, and it won’t just gather dust - it’ll head to Life Cycle’s in-prison workshops, where prisoners learn real skills, build confidence, and train as .training accredited, professional bike mechanics.

💙 We’re proud to be a part of the local bike shop week and support access to bike mechanics knowledge.

Many of our students, like Yasmin, use their newfound skills to help others in their communities access the benefits of cycling.

All our profits go towards our charitable projects, including:

🚲 Bikes for refugees and others living in transport poverty
🚲 Bike access for children on the poverty line
🚲 Rehabilitation empowering people in prison to rebuild their lives
🚲 Tandem adventures for visually impaired people
