On a dull day in January, we thought we'd cheer you up with a reminder of some of the Christmas fun we had at BCL South this year - a few tunes from entertainer Philip Charles, a Festive concert from the Ukulele band and a coffee morning with cakes, raffle, tombola and name the teddy!

A group from North Links paid a visit to Bristol Museum & Art Gallery
We talked about where we would like to go for a day out on the bus and the group suggested the Museum.
We were particularly interested in the stuffed animals especially Alfred the Gorilla.
Thank you to the wonderful Museum staff for being so helpful and letting us use their lunchroom!

BCL South recently took part in a sewing workshop with the Royal West of England Academy (RWA) facilitated by visiting artist Alice. The 'Oxfam dress' is made from discarded tents.
We stitched on to the dress our names, handprints and something meaningful to us. All participants really enjoyed the workshop. We thought you'd enjoy seeing some photos.
