Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust We are Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust, based in The Hub and St James, Romney Avenue. The Hub is also the home of Boing!

We exist to support our community to come together and to create positive change. Drop in for community events and classes, room hire, signposting, bookswap and more! Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust is the community organisation for Lockleaze, supporting our community to come together and create the change we all want to see. Our buildings are the Hub on Gainsborough Square and St James on Romney Avenue. Soft Play Centre, and our Hub Hall and St James Church are also available for community hire, as well as hosting loads of activities each week. At the Hub, we provide support and signposting, and loads of community events and classes - including our Wednesday lunchtime Hubbub cafe at The Hub. You can also drop off and pick up library books you've ordered online, use our bookswap, or tell us about events and groups you want to put on. A bit more of the story behind Lockleaze Community Cafe...

Plans like this don't come from nowhere, but from years of negotiations and community conversations.

Local people want a thriving Gainsborough Square with places to eat well, take your friends out for coffee at the weekend, and engage in community life.

We are delighted to be supporting a local resident, along with partners, to help raise awareness of Carers Rights with 3 events and a month long exhibition at The Hub. All are free to attend.

Join us on Carers' Rights Day (November 19th, 2-4pm) for tea and cake, practical workshops and the opening of Invisible Army's beautiful exhibition.

This is followed by a writing workshop and a peer support session- your opportunity to find out more, access support and connect with other carers.

Community Ideas is part of our Lockleaze Together project- creating more opportunities for residents to take action, contribute and connect. Do you have an idea or want to make something happen?

Hello community.

We want to let you know that LNT are taking action to amplify Lockleaze’s concerns about the proposed traffic changes to Dovercourt Road.

Read our statement, add your comments to the upcoming Transport Committee (https://www.lockleazent.co.uk/lnts-statement-re-dovercourt-traffic-consultation/).

This Thursday LNT will be delivering the petition from Lockleaze residents stating their concerns about the road changes to the Transport Committee, and making a statement. Whatever your views, get your voice heard.

Theatre for families in Lockleaze this half term 🎭

Travelling Light Theatre Company are bringing their show Wonder Baby to St James Church, Romney Avenue.

The show was developed in collaboration with families, and invites children and families to explore physical play using movement, clowning and creative play. 🌈
