๐ŸŽ‰ Just ONE WEEK to go until the Friends of Waycroft Summer Fayre! ๐ŸŽ‰

โ˜€๏ธ The weather forecast is looking in our favour! ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ

Thereโ€™ll be plenty to eat including hot dogs, vegan hot dogs, chicken nuggets, chips, crisps, cakes and ice creams
Plus our fully stocked bar serving Thatchers Gold and Haze, lager, BrewDog, cocktail cans and a variety of soft drinks.

Weโ€™ve also got some exciting new games this year, including Football Darts, as well as all your much-loved Summer Fayre favourites.

There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs too!

A reminder that Friends of Waycroft are Tesco Brislington Community Bookcaseโ€™s Charity of the Month for July ๐Ÿ“š

Throughout July, funds raised from the Community Bookcase at Tesco Brislington will be donated to Friends of Waycroft to support projects and opportunities for our children. Weโ€™ve got a few fundraising requests lined up but we will share more with you on that when the details are finalised.

To help us make this a success, weโ€™re asking for donations of:

๐Ÿ“– Books (fiction, non-fiction, adult and childrenโ€™s)
๐ŸŽฌ DVDs (U or PG rated)
๐ŸŽฎ Computer Games (U or PG rated)
๐ŸŽต CDs
๐Ÿงฉ Complete Jigsaw Puzzles

โŒ Please note: We cannot accept copied CDs or DVDs.

Please can donations can be dropped off at the Customer Service Desk in Tesco Brislington as this would be a great help, or alternatively at the school office.

We still need more helpers to make the event possible. Due to low volunteer numbers, weโ€™ve already had to cancel the inflatables and one planned game, and weโ€™d really like to avoid losing anything else.

๐ŸŒŸ Exciting News! ๐ŸŒŸ

Friends of Waycroft are delighted to announce that we have funded an immersive theatre experience for in the new school year! ๐ŸŽ‰

Immersive Theatres will be coming to Waycroft in October, bringing a unique 360ยฐ learning environment directly into school. Using state-of-the-art projection technology inside a portable dome, pupils will be transported into incredible worlds and experiences that bring learning to life.

These exciting sessions are designed to support the curriculum and pupils will be able to explore and learn in a way that is memorable, inspiring and fun. ๐Ÿš€โœจ

We are thrilled to be able to provide this fantastic opportunity and canโ€™t wait to see the wonder and excitement on our pupilsโ€™ faces when they experience it for themselves.
