Pill Community Foundation Pill Community Foundation supports the village’s growth by providing access to resources, advice, and support.

It manages the Pill Resource Centre, fosters connections, reduces isolation, responds to community needs, and promotes volunteering for all. Pill Community Foundation supports the community to thrive, grow and develop by enabling them to access and share resources, support, information and advice. The role of Pill Community Foundation in the life of the village:
- “Thriving, developing and growing” encompasses health, wellbeing, welfare, connections and opportunities.
- Managing the Pill Resource Centre, it acts as a visible and recognisable “centre” for the village.
- Supporting groups and individuals equally.
- Helping to reduce social isolation by connecting people and resources.
- Responding to changing community needs and characteristics.
- Promoting the value of volunteering.

Nailsea and District Community Transport offers a Dial a Ride service.

To use the service you will need to become a member. Annual membership is £20 and then there are various fares depending on the journey. For example, a return weekly shopping trip is £8.

To use our services you will need to become a member of Nailsea and District Community Transport; this costs £20.00 per year for an individual, £25 for a couple (same address) or £45.00 per year for a group. Parent Pathways: Free Education and SEND Advice Drop-In

Join Jason Sharpe, former teacher, education consultant, and founder of Mr Gillman Tuition, for a free, informal drop-in session to support parents and carers navigating the education system. Whether your child is struggling with school attendance, experiencing anxiety about education, has additional learning needs, or you're simply unsure what support is available, Jason will be on hand to listen, answer questions, and help you explore next steps. Jason is also the author of the North Somerset Parent Pathways Guide, a free 60-page resource that helps families understand SEN Support, EHCPs, alternative provision, education otherwise than at school (EOTAS), and other educational pathways. No appointment is necessary, and everyone is welcome.

Moving forward, we are sorry to say there'll be no discount for the photopying and printing charges at the Resource Centre.

We are unable to continue to offer the discount because the Resource Centre relies entirely on donations and grants to operate.
