Our Enterprise and Employment course finished last Thursday! We had such a great time learning about each others business ideas and exploring the basics of business. Congratulations everyone for completing the course. We cant wait to see your businesses succeed!

We are coming to the end of our Enterprise and Employment course this week. We have a fantastic group of participants with lots of different business ideas. Day 5 of our enterprise course! We spent the morning carrying out market research! This is Midhun pitching his new business idea to us.. a tea and snack truck.. serving the most delicious south indian snacks and chai! As a group we helped him come up with a name for his business! We cant wait to visit your snack truck Midhun!

We have finished the first week of our Enterprise and Employment course.. we are all starting to get to know each other and have been treated to some amazing food!
One of our learners Sunil is just starting out with a new catering company. Magic Masala .. he brought in biryani and fish curry this week and both were amazing! If you are looking for someone to cater for an event please do contact him!

Its been a busy day today at CCBED!
We had registration for our popular ESOL course and it was also day 1 of our Enterprise and Employment Course. We were joined by the inspiring Salha from Salha's Sudanese Kitchen who shared with us about her own journey to start her business, the learners were all really encouraged by her story and we loved eating samosa and baklava!
One of the learners also brought in Biryani for us to try... it was so good!

Its always such a pleasure to work in partnership with other local organisations who have a similar ethos! Well done LoveWell for all the work you do to support women.

Back to it with a bang - our trainees are spending the next 6 weeks working towards an accreditation in L1 Enterprise and Employment. This is the first time we've been able to offer a recognised qualification for trainees and we're so grateful to CCBED for their help in getting this off the ground, as well as Quartet Community Foundation who have funded this piece of work.

This course is an introduction to starting your own business. Further support can also be offered from Brisbes on completion of the course.
