CLICENDALES CLICENDALES is a registered charity (no. 1143699) which raises money to help support young people with cancer and their families. Founded 1993.

CLICENDALES is a registered charity fundraising in aid of all aspects of care for children with cancer. The main event is an annual charity dance show performed by students from the University of Bristol Medical School. All proceeds go to Young Lives Vs Cancer, a fantastic charity who help and support children, young people and their families through a cancer diagnosis. Over the last two years alo

ne, CLICENDALES has raised over £100,000 for this very worthwhile cause. From the committee to the 200 dancers, from choreographers to make up artists, the entire production is student run. Auditions are held in November, accepting approximately 200 medical students to perform to a crowd of over 1500 people at the O2 Academy Bristol in March. There are numerous CLICENDALES fundraisers throughout the year, involving hundreds of medical students, and non-medics too! So there’s something for everyone! Being involved in CLICENDALES provides an excellent opportunity to not only raise money for a worthwhile cause, but also meet new people and have fun at university! It is seen by many as the best night in the Medical School Calendar and brings students together from years 1-6, forging many friendships throughout the university, whilst being able to help a wonderful cause.

📣 Calling all performing acts, DJs and photographers 📣

We are on the lookout for DJs, photographers and acts to perform during the show on March the 11th, if this interests you:

Please email us at [email protected] with a short statement about why you should be involved (DJs please send playlist examples!)
If you would like to be an opening act please send us an example video of your act.
We will then host a virtual "Bristol's Got Talent" on our instagram to help us decide on our 3 acts?
Acts can include comedy, bands, music, singing etc...

🎉30th Anniversary of CLIC! 🎉

This year marks the 30th anniversary of CLIC and so we are planning to do something really special by having an exclusive dance to celebrate it! We wanted to try and involve as many alumni as possible as we appreciate you have all been a big part of the last 30 yrs of Clic! So if anyone would like to get involved with a virtual alumni backing video (can be in groups if you prefer) to go alongside our anniversary dance, or clips of you talking about your CLIC experience whilst you were at Med school etc please get in touch for more details.
