Bristol Independent Mental Health Network Promoting an effective voice for mental health service users across Bristol.

We are the Bristol Independent Mental Health Network (BIMHN), representing past, current and future users of mental health services across the city. BIHMN aims to provide people experiencing mental ill health with a platform to speak out and share their experiences and needs, which we will then feed back to local services and commissioners. We hope that by challenging current practice, we can instigate worthwhile change, allowing people to access the care that they deserve.

We wrote a statement after the comments made by the Work and Pensions Secretary a few weeks ago.

Since then, the PM has stated plans to withdraw support from disabled people to get back into work.
