The first part of our Street View Arts project is complete, and what an incredible series of photography workshops it has been! 🧡

Our participants have combined classroom-based learning with hands-on photography, taking their new skills out into the streets and capturing the world around them through their own lenses.

But the real magic? ❤️ Hearing what these sessions have already meant to the people taking part. Seeing their enthusiasm, confidence and the way they are beginning to notice their surroundings differently is truly warming our hearts!

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to our wonderful professional photographers, Ella Sayce and Heidi Burton, Photographer , for sharing their knowledge, skills and creativity with our participants. Your support has helped make these sessions so special! 📷🙌

In just a couple of weeks, we'll be moving into Part 2: Zine Making! 🎨📰 Our participants will use the photographs they've captured to create their own zines, turning their images and perspectives into something they can share with others.

📸 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘀 Part1 & Part2 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀!

We’ve experimented, explored and looked at the world around us a little differently - and now we’re heading into our 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 series before we move on to creating our zines with Zara! 🎨📖

This week we’ll be exploring 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀, experimenting with different materials and discovering how we can 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 to create something completely different. ✨

🍂 𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗮:
As you’re out and about, notice what catches your eye. A leaf, a stick, an interesting piece of discarded material… anything that makes you stop and look. If it is 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲, pick it up and bring it along! Please do not collect anything sharp, dirty, hazardous or otherwise unsafe.
