It has been a bumper year for tomatoes at Empowering futures this year.

We have made

🍅 sun dried
🍅 pizza sauce
🍅 dried skin crumble
🍅 based salad
🍅 Green tomatoe chutney 
🍅 animal feed

Just to name a few. And we are still daily picking right now!!

This was another great activity during the holidays to follow on from the visit to Willow brook Farm.

Everyone really enjoyed creating their own art and even signed their canvas once finished.

Definitely an activity we will be doing again in the future.

Today we visited Wake The Tiger while also running a smaller session back at site making home made pizza and a pizza sauce from everything grown over the summer

I must say it was a delicious pizza and everyone had a great time during the trip today.

She is an Abyssinian guinea pig. She has many Rosetta’s within her coat.

She is alittle shy at the moment and has already had a Houdini moment😅
