everyFAMILY is a registered charity providing family support and childcare for our local community in north Bristol and beyond. Our aim is to improve the education and development of babies and young children by providing family support services, community groups and nursery and preschool care. We lead the Bristol-wide initiative to support children affected by parental offending (CAPO). everyFAMILY was formally known as Brentry & Henbury Children’s Centre and was established in 2004.

Today we’re celebrating our amazing Early Years Practitioners and recognising the hard work, dedication and love they bring to our nursery every single day!

From celebrating little milestones to providing comfort, care and endless opportunities to learn and grow, our practitioners make such a huge difference in our children’s lives. We’re so lucky to have such a wonderful team! ✨

🎭✨ Bringing music, movement and creativity to nursery! ✨🎶

We’ve been delighted to welcome Invisible Threads Dance & Drama into our daycare, working with children across all of our age groups.

Through music, movement, and drama, the sessions are carefully adapted to suit each age and stage of development. The children have been encouraged to explore, express themselves, build confidence and develop their communication, physical and creative skills — all while having lots of fun! 💃🎵

It’s wonderful to see the children getting involved, trying new things and discovering the joy of moving, creating and expressing themselves together. 💕✨

A huge thank you to Invisible Threads for bringing such exciting and inspiring sessions into our nursery! 🌈 We can’t wait for our next session!

We are excited to celebrate the wonderful diversity of our community and all the different cultures, backgrounds, traditions and family experiences that make everyFAMILY so special! 🌈

We would love to invite children and their parents/carers to join us for a special FREE “We Want to Celebrate You” Stay & Play! 🎉

🍽️ We invite you to bring a food item that represents your culture, heritage or family traditions.

This could be:
❤️ A favourite family recipe
🌍 A cultural snack
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A food that is special to your family
✨ Or something that reminds you of home

Sharing food is a fantastic way for children to learn about different cultures, traditions and communities. There will also be opportunities for children to play, explore and take part in fun activities together.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-STAR FOOD HYGIENE RATING! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A huge well done to Debbie and Morgan, our fantastic kitchen team, who have achieved a 5-star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency! 👏

Following an unannounced inspection last week, the kitchen received the highest possible rating, recognising the high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness maintained every day.

From preparing fresh, nutritious meals to keeping our kitchen clean, safe and well organised, Debbie and Morgan work hard behind the scenes to make sure our children enjoy delicious meals in a safe environment. 🥕🍎👩‍🍳

This is a fantastic achievement and something the whole everyFAMILY team can be proud of.

🔧 WE’RE HIRING: SITE MANAGER 🔧

Are you a practical, hands-on person who enjoys fixing things, solving problems and keeping a busy building running smoothly?

We’re looking for a Site Manager to join the everyFAMILY team!

This is a hands-on practical role, so experience and confidence with DIY, maintenance, repairs and general building upkeep are essential. We’re looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and tackle the jobs that need doing ; from fixing, assembling and maintaining things to keeping our nursery and community spaces safe, secure and well looked after.

You’ll also need experience of managing health and safety, ensuring our buildings, equipment and working environments remain safe and compliant for children, families, visitors and staff.

🛠️ Practical skills are essential
🔧 Hands-on experience with maintenance, repairs and DIY
🦺 Experience managing health & safety is essential
🏠 Experience looking after buildings and facilities
🧰 A practical, can-do attitude
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Help us keep our spaces safe and welcoming for local families

If you’re someone who can turn your hand to a bit of everything, enjoys fixing things, takes health and safety seriously and takes pride in keeping a building in great shape, we’d love to hear from you!

We were thrilled to see a large cohort of our wonderful South Gloucestershire CAPO champions come together for a fantastic workshop delivered by Tyrell from BXCELLENCE today!

Tyrell guided us through some powerful and multi-dimensional frameworks - particularly exploring the dialectical thinking that children experience when holding complex, competing truths about a parent in prison, and examining the archetypes that shape how these children perceive themselves and the world around them.

This was a deeply engaging session, offering invaluable insights to support our ongoing work with children and young people affected by parental offending and imprisonment.

A huge thank you to Tyrell for leading such a thought-provoking session, and to all our champions for your continued dedication and commitment! 👏 💜
