Are you interested in supporting businesses to boycott for Palestine? Then join us on Saturday 10 October when weโ€™ll be visiting the 35 businesses already boycotting in Easton. Weโ€™ll be delivering posters and well deserved thank yous! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ

Supporting businesses to boycott is an important part of what BAFZ does. If you havenโ€™t joined a BAFZ event before this is a good way to meet people involved in the campaign in your area.

Weโ€™ll meet locally for a coffee, quick briefing and to collect posters, then weโ€™ll set off in small groups or pairs.

Building community through craft with Women in Hebron

Join Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone and Women in Hebron on Saturday 17 October at To***co Factory to connect, create, and learn together through Palestinian craft, film, and discussion.

In the afternoon weโ€™ll be joined by a speaker from Women in Hebron, a cooperative for embroidery and craft by Palestinian women in the West Bank. They will be running a workshop so you can learn the Palestinian art of Tatreez, and giving a talk about what is happening in the West Bank* and how the cooperative is responding. You will also have the chance to buy beautiful handcrafted products made by the cooperative and support the work they are doing.

In the evening we will be screening Carol Mansourโ€™s Stitching Palestine. It follows twelve Palestinian women whose personal stories, memories and experiences of displacement are connected through Palestinian embroidery. Following the film we will hold a collective discussion about Tatreez, womenโ€™s histories, identity and cultural resistance.

Throughout the day we will have different activities you can get involved in including letter writing for UK prisoners for Palestine and sharing ideas about how to build a community boycott ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ

Bristol is saying NO to Israelโ€™s apartheid and genocide. Over 7000 households across the city have pledged to go apartheid-free, becoming part of a powerful movement for Palestinian freedom.

Now we are bringing all of our supporters together! We are inviting you to a FREE community breakfast, in St Pauls Learning Centre, on Sunday 27th September at 10:30am.

Weโ€™ll be connecting with our neighbours, building bonds of solidarity across our community, and sharing some delicious food.

The far right are demonstrating in Bristol this Saturday.

These are the same people who've attacked and threatened our comrades campaigning for a free Palestine.

They back Israel's genocide and the US war on Iran.

They are enemies of every liberation movement, every religious and ethnic minority.

We're not backing down. Bristol Apartheid-Free Zone is joining the anti-imperialist bloc to oppose the far right and show them we will not be silenced.

Our big meeting yesterday was incredible!

100 people together discussing how we build the community boycott, unite our communities in solidarity with Palestine, and make Bristol an Apartheid-Free Zone

We've now launched 4 BAFZ branches - hubs of our campaign that will organise in the places you live.

- Central & North West
- South
- Fishponds & North East
- East

Get involved in your local branch to help with doorknocking, reaching out to local shops, running community events, and planning all the other activities that will build the community boycott.

Yesterday's meeting started to show just how much we can do if we push together against our state's role in apartheid and genocide. Let's keep pushing, together! Free Palestine!
