We recently visited the Mutende project in Zambia. It was a joy to be back again and spend time with the children. While we were there we checked on progress with various projects. It was wonderful to see the solar panels in action - it means there is now electricity for 24 hours per day. A highlight was taking the recent grade 12 graduates on a 5 day discipleship and outward bound training course at the YWAM base in Mkushi. It was very powerful time for these young adults as they learnt about their identity in God and walking by faith. Overall a very successful visit!

We have a team heading off to Mutende Children’s village next week. These trips are inportant to maintain contact with the staff and children and to check on various projects and initiatives. We are particularly looking forward to seeing the progress on the school build and spending some dedicated time with the older children who have recently completed their exams!

As usual we will be taking a number of supplies with us which are either difficult to get in Zambia, or are cheaper to purchase in the U.K. We are taking underwear of various sizes, some youth bibles & various other bits and bobs. The photo shows what we collected today. We would be very grateful if you could help with the cost of these.

Thank you very much for your support of the Trust this year. We've seen lots happening, which is possible because of the donations we've received. A few highlights:

- The first phase of the solar project at Mutende is complete - no more power outages!

- Another student from Mutende has graduated this year

- We heard more amazing stories from the health care workers in Delhi, supporting whole families in the community, not just those with medical needs

- We've been able to walk alongside many who are doing difficult work in other nations, often unseen and at risk to themselves

- A very successful Big Give campaign which has raised the funds to complete the school expansion project at Mutende

The Big Give opens today!

From 12 noon, visit http://bit.ly/Mutende2025 to donate to our campaign, and have your donation doubled!

Bridge is partnering with the Big Give to raise money for the school expansion at the Mutende Children's Village in Zambia.

Every donation given via the Big Give website from today until 12 noon next Tuesday will be doubled up to our target of £12,000.

These funds will enable us to finish four more classrooms and a toilet block in this successful and growing school.
