There was a little extra sparkle in the air on Saturday as our very own Thornbury Radio Breakfast Show host Chris Criddle married his beautiful bride Steph! 🥂💐❤️
And what a special day it was!
Surrounded by family, friends and many of the Thornbury Radio team, Chris and Steph celebrated the beginning of their next chapter together in style. From the beautiful ceremony to the smiles, laughter, stunning flowers and those unforgettable moments between the newlyweds, it looked like a truly wonderful day filled with love and happiness. 🥰💍
Of course, when one of your own ties the knot, it’s a special occasion for the whole Thornbury Radio family. We’re so pleased that so many of the team could be there to share in the celebrations, raise a glass and help make memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️📻
And just when you thought the day couldn’t get any more magical… EVEN THE NORTHERN LIGHTS CAME TO THE PARTY! 🌌✨
Yes, if you were lucky enough to look up at the right time on Saturday, you might have caught the Northern Lights putting on their own spectacular show in the sky! Talk about perfect timing! Whether Chris and Steph had arranged that personally is still under investigation… 😂😉
Naturally, a wedding celebration involving some of our presenters was never going to be a quiet affair! 🍾🥂 And from what we’re hearing, quite a few of the Thornbury Radio team are feeling it today! 😂
We won’t name names. We’re a professional radio station, after all… although we might be checking who’s reached for the coffee before the microphone this week☕🤣
Chris, meanwhile, will be taking an EXTENDED HONEYMOON — and quite rightly so! 🌴☀️ and there’s no better way to start married life than with some well-deserved time together.
But don’t panic, breakfast listeners! 🎙️ While Chris enjoys his honeymoon, Phil Makepeace will be stepping into the hot seat to keep you company with Makepeace in the Morning. So you’ll still have your breakfast soundtrack, your morning laughs and plenty of company to get you through the day!
