Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast

Rotary Club of Bristol Breakfast A vibrant club with over 50 members. For info and to join us contact [email protected] Our new Rotary year starts on 1st July each year.

We meet at 7.00am every Wednesday at Redland Green Club, Bristol where we have some great speakers and plan our charitable endeavours. We have a membership of over 50 people, one of the largest Rotary Clubs in the area, growing strongly each year. Our members range in age from their twenties up to retirees. This means that the Club's members can enjoy a choice of exciting activities - social, fund

-raising & business networking. We normally meet each Wednesday for breakfast at The Redland Green Club
Redland Green, Bristol BS6 7HF from 7.00am to 8.30am. Our main fundraiser each year is the Dragon Boat Festival held on Bristol Harbourside near the Cottage Public House - huge fun, good for team-building and supporting good causes. We have a Networking group for the very many members who aren't retired & want an opportunity to discuss business opportunities - a proportion of the Club that is increasing quite quickly! You may have guessed that although our Club knows how to take some things seriously, we put having fun very near the top of the agenda!

Act 24!

The 24th hour has come!

What an amazing day, filled with so much of everything!

It’ll be no surprise to know that I’m exhausted and now off to bed! But before I do that, a word for Jonn and Lisa, my team, who keep the wheels of my business turning when I’m doing other things.

I feel so fortunate to be able to do the things I can, but the day job is always still there and needs my constant attention. My team make it a bit easier, and today was one of these days.

They definitely deserve a shout out!

Act 22!

Give your delivery people a treat!

Why not leave a little something for all those folks who work so hard to deliver everything we want!

My lot will have a smile and a weekend treat when they arrive throughout Friday!

Oh, I’m not expecting ALL of them on the list! 🙈

Another call for donations….. I’m not stopping!

Act 21!

What do you see? A dog’s face or an alien wearing a dress?

When the idea was presented to paint a pebble and gift it to someone to make them smile, my friend Sarah jumped at the chance! My painting skills aren’t exactly up to much!

So she set to work at 3am and this was the result! Perhaps a little unintended, but when we both looked at it, we thought it was brilliant!

Someone in the village will be having a smile in the morning! 😃

Keep those donations coming in!

Act 20!

Support a local retailer!

I was browsing through a website, and discovered all this fabulously cool stuff that is either made or produced locally here in Bristol.

The Independent Design Collective supports local artists and creatives and the website is worth a look!

Everyone knows I love my dog and I found this awesome poster of a dog, with a map of Bristol dog walks painted within the dog! Clever! A few clicks later, a purchase was made to support the local artist and this will be hanging on my wall soon!

Act 14!

A lovely bunch of flowers for a random stranger!

Another thing that needed a bit of courage based on what I mentioned earlier, but no issues this time!

And now we know that the lady is called Catherine, because she’s been kind enough herself to make a Facebook post on our page to say thank you!

How lovely is that!! 😃

We’re glad we made you smile Catherine! 💐

Act 8!

It’s not what you know, it’s who you know! We managed to find a way into the back of the Bristol Royal Infirmary to drop off some of the goodies from The Marmalade Trust and another bag of bits and pieces for delivery to the children’s ward! Hope they enjoy the colouring books, pens, teddy bears, puzzles and sweets!
