Celebrating 40 Years of BDP: 3 Weeks to Go!

Forty years ago, Bristol Drugs Project opened its doors with a simple idea: meet people where they’re at, without judgement. Four decades on, that idea still runs through everything we do.

Join us on 3 November for a musical and spoken-word journey through our history. More than 70 performers from our BDP Creative Communities groups will take to the stage, joined by some very special guests from the wider Bristol scene. It’s our way of remembering, and celebrating, all the hard work that got us here.

Mondays | Creative Writing with Sukina Noor
📍 Trinity | 🕑 2pm-4pm
New and established writers are welcome, and no experience is needed. Each week, we'll explore a variety of themes to inspire your writing.

Wednesdays | Hip Hop with Moyah
📍 Trinity | 🕐 1:30pm-3:30pm
Explore hip hop and lyric writing over five weekly sessions. The last session is on Wednesday 28 October.

Group members will also have the chance to perform alongside our other Creative Communities groups in the Celebrating 40 Years of BDP show at St George's on 3 November 2026 (optional).
