School facilities and halls to book or hire for your sport or community needs

The latest upgrade to facilities has been made over the half term. The ageing small sided football goals on the Astro turf pitch at The Castle School have been replaced with these new ones.

New LED lighting has been installed to the Netball Courts area as part of our latest project at Downend School Sports Centre. Our freshly painted lines are now clear to see as we continue to upgrade our facilities.

Good news. The new astro turf pitch at The Castle School is now complete, to add to the new LED floodlights this creates an exciting pitch for the new school year and sports seasons. Bookings in the diary will now start, and we do have some spaces for new enquires. Enquire at communities.cset.co.uk

Plenty of improvement works progressing nicely over the summer. Marlwood School 3G floodlights upgrade to LED is nearly complete, the fittings are in and just some final electrical work to go. At Castle School the new astro turf is down and works continue.

Work is well underway with the Astro turf pitch replacement at The Castle School. Old surfaces have been removed and the base layer cleaned up. New base layers and carpet can now start to be laid ready for the new school year and sports seasons.

School holidays are here and we are open from 5.30pm weekdays and 9.00am weekends.

Why not organise a game of Netball on our newly refurbished courts at Downend or head indoors for a game of Badminton.

Work is underway over the Easter holidays to upgrade the lights on our Rodway Hill Tennis Club courts. New LED lights will add improved lighting and efficiency for these courts.

Our LED floodlight upgrade install is progressing this week at The Castle School. This will improve pitch lighting and help as part of our strategy to reduce energy consumption.
