We can all hear the ongoing noise of fear and division.

This refugee week’s theme is courage. Courage in the face of this all too familiar noise and courage through community.

Everyone deserves to feel safe and mentally healthy, particularly those who have risked everything to find it. We are proud to support those seeking sanctuary in our city on their journey to better mental health.

This week we are honoured to bring you a continuation of our Asylum World in a Frame exhibition, this will be displayed in the foyer of City Hall between 16 and 18 June 2026, from 10am to 4pm. Through photography and personal storytelling, they have captured moments of challenge, uncertainty, connection, and joy — offering perspectives on life in the asylum system that are too often unheard. These are their stories.

This exhibition was created in collaboration with , Hope Service, BRASP members, including Pride Without Borders, and led by our Lived Experience Advocates alongside artist Aida Silvestri.

What an incredible day at the Great Bristol 10k & Half Marathon 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’re so proud of everyone who made this year such a success. A huge thank you to our amazing runners (over 65 of you!) for bringing the energy, enthusiasm, and commitment. Your incredible fundraising efforts have helped raise an outstanding £22,887 and counting 👏💙

We’re also incredibly grateful to our Charity Partner of the Year, Cakesmiths, who went above and beyond by entering their own team, raising over £1,370, and keeping our runners and supporters going with some seriously delicious bakes 🍰

A special thank you to The Olive Shed for hosting our Bristol Mind run hub, creating a welcoming space for runners, friends, and families to come together, cheer each other on, and celebrate after the finish line.

To everyone who donated - thank you! Every penny raised will help keep our vital mental health services running, supporting those in our community who need it most.

If you’re feeling inspired to take on the challenge next year, we’d love to hear from you! Get in touch at [email protected]
