The Park Centre The Park Centre in Knowle is a charity run community hub which offers educational and leisure opportunities for South Bristol and beyond.

We have a cafe which is open to the public and sports, gym and conference facilities.

This Wednesday it's the maiden voyage of the FareShare Pop Up Pantry. Look out for the van.

Creating a Park Quality Plan

Help Your Park shape what makes a great park in Bristol.

Join them for a community workshop to help shape Bristol’s new Park Quality Plan to improve the quality of parks across our city.

They want to understand what makes a park high quality, welcoming and worth visiting in from your own perspective. Together, they'll explore what matters to you, what good park quality looks and feels like, and how they can make sure that their Park Quality Plan considers the needs of all communities across Bristol.

Your work will help shape a shared vision for what park quality is, how it's measured, how communities have a say and ultimately how investment and improvements are prioritised across the city.

You don’t need any expert knowledge; they want to hear about your experience and ideas.

To thank you for your time and views, a £30 gift voucher provided for participation.

All workshops are in accessible venues, and a light meal will be provided at each.

FLAMINGO CHICKS FREE TASTER SESSION THIS THURSDAY

Bring your little chicks to give it a try.

The free taster session is designed for pre-school children aged two to five and their parent or carer. Led by a specialist Flamingo Chicks teacher, it will include sensory props, imaginative activities and plenty of fun.

Sessions are carefully created to be completely inclusive of children with and without additional needs.

Flamingo Chicks’ exceptional teachers regularly work with children with a wide variety of needs, including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, visual impairments and profound and multiple learning disabilities................................
⭐️ Free Taster Session
⭐️ Thursday 24 September
⭐️ 1–1.45pm
⭐️ Dance Studio @ The Park
⭐️ For children aged 2–5 years (parent must attend the session)
⭐️ Free – advance registration required

⭐️ Places are very limited, and an adult must attend with every child.
⭐️ After the taster, families that would like to continue, can book further sessions for £7.50 each. Paid sessions start 1st October.
