Thank you so much to all who helped us prep for and manage 347 visits to FTH over the 3 evening shifts last week - what a brilliant team you are 💪🏼.
Thank you also to Kate’s kitchen for a delicious lasagne and Paul at Riverford who is delivering some fresh fruit and veg every week

The first week of June is National Volunteers Week and we couldn’t do 3 services a week, without the team of volunteers .. Thank you to everyone that contributes in whatever way ❤️🙏

What a hot week it was.. We had loads of cold drinks and water and fruit, especially water melon to rehydrate everyone that queued patiently ❤️☀️
And they did have to queue as the numbers were 90 on Thursday, 103 on Friday and 143 on Sunday
Thank you to everyone who waited patiently and our volunteers who served all the delicious food and drinks and a mountain of produce !

All at Feed the Homeless are so sorry to hear this news. Our sympathies go our to Ebenezer Church and North Bristol and South Gloucestershire foodbank. We know only too well how reliant people are on food banks and how devastating the impacts of this will be for everyone

UPDATE - Foodbank van has been found (undamaged) last night but other items stolen have not been found. Fuller update to come. Thanks for your support.

Last night, Ebenezer Church suffered a break-in. Items of significant value were stolen from both the church and foodbank offices, and the foodbank van was also taken from outside the building.

The incident happened between approximately 3:30am and 4:00am on Wednesday morning at Ebenezer Church (286 Filton Avenue, Horfield, BS7 0BA)

We are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity, or who has seen a white Ford Transit van (registration CK71 GYU), to please report it to the police or contact us directly.

We are deeply saddened by what has happened, but both the church and foodbank remain committed to serving our local communities and continuing to bring practical support, compassion, and HOPE.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported our activities last weekend. We helped 284 people with groceries, hot meals and much needed cold drinks…all capped off with 2 birthdays 🎉.
Because of the high temperatures SWEP (Severe weather emergency protocol) has now been activated

*Heat-SWEP activated in Bristol*

Due to the high temperatures in Bristol, Heat-SWEP will be activated from today. Heat-SWEP does not come with an accommodation offer but we encourage people to access cool spaces away from the heat during the day.

Lots of lovely meals including beef roast dinner, yummy puddings, sandwiches, the most amazing fruit platters and lots of produce

How can a weekend of wonderful food service be summarised?
Joy, delicious food and lots of smiles and every week something different!
This weekend, we had potential contestants for Strictly, a delicious dog meal for Archie, and the amazing Naan & Co Bristol who provided 120 meals for Sunday service
