We are UBES: the largest, most active, and best outdoors society at the University of Bristol. We are passionate about adventures, and endlessly enthusiastic to get as many people involved as we can. Whatever your level of experience, it would great to meet you. We run regular weekend trips, give free climbing instruction, organise adventurous expeditions abroad, and offer training opportunities.

When not on the mountain, we also have regular socials and weekly pub. We aim to develop our members’ passion for the outdoors and support them as safe and independent mountaineers whilst, of course, providing maximum fun! Hi! Massive welcome to anyone new to the UBES forum, and a warm welcome back all returning ubesters. We can't wait to see you all again!

Here's a plan of the upcoming welcome events. Posts with more details on each event will follow but feel free to leave any questions you have in the comments.

This forum and our Instagram are great places to keep up to date with all of the Ubes events. Post any questions to the forum, or DM us on instagram If you haven't already, check out our insta to see the incredible expeditions that took place this summer and the meet the committee posts.
