W.E. Irish Fleadh Cheoil 2026 - Ticket Update 🎉

We’re delighted to say the event is currently SOLD OUT – thank you so much for the amazing support! 💚

If you have purchased tickets but can no longer attend, please let us know by Friday at 21:00 so we can release the tickets for resale and give someone else the chance to join.

We are looking at releasing any returned tickets on Saturday morning at 10:00, so keep an eye on our page if you missed out.👀

Please note: there will be no tickets available on the door, so this will be the only chance to secure any additional tickets. 🎫

We’re delighted to welcome the Bristol Ceilidh Collective to the W.E. Irish Fleadh Cheoil 2026 this St. Patrick’s Weekend!

Known for their high-energy ceilidh dancing and infectious folk spirit, they’ll be getting everyone on their feet for some traditional Celtic dancing. 🎶

Never ceilidhed before? Perfect! Their mission is to bring ceilidh to everyone - beginners and seasoned dosey-doe pros alike. Just jump in and join the fun. ☘️

Join us at the W.E. Irish Fleadh Cheoil 2026 this St. Patrick’s Weekend for Native Tongues, a special programme celebrating Irish writing, storytelling, and poetry.

Taking place Sunday 15 March (12:00–20:00) at Trinity Centre, Bristol, the day will feature Lin Rose Clark, Jim O’Sullivan, John Rea, and bestselling historian James Hawes, sharing readings, poetry, and reflections on Irish history, heritage, and the Irish diaspora. 📕

Native Tongues sessions will take place throughout the day alongside live music, workshops, and ceilidhs. 🎶

🎟 Last tickets available online now - a small number of tickets will also be available on the door on the day.

Performer Spotlight: Éire Waves 🎶

With less than a week to go until the W.E. Irish St Patrick’s Weekend Fleadh Cheoil, we’re delighted to welcome Paula, host of Éire Waves, to the lineup.

Éire Waves is a monthly radio show on Noods Radio, Bristol’s independent station celebrating the exciting new wave of Irish artists while connecting them with the classic sounds that shaped Irish music. The show spans genres from trad folk and rock to pop and experimental, highlighting the rich storytelling tradition at the heart of Irish music. ☘️

At the Fleadh Cheoil, Paula will open the day with a specially curated playlist of Irish music and will be playing music throughout the day between bands, keeping the energy flowing and the atmosphere lively. 💚

We’re delighted to welcome O’Malley School of Irish Dance to the stage at the W.E. Irish St. Patrick’s Weekend Fleadh Cheoil 2026 at Trinity Centre!

Founded in 2007 by Kate O’Malley (T.C.R.G.), the school is registered with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha and offers traditional Irish dance classes for both children and adults. Their talented dancers regularly perform at displays and shows, while also preparing for local and national competitions. ✨

Get ready for an energetic and beautiful showcase of traditional Irish dance as part of this year’s celebrations. 💃

Meet Avalen, a traditional folk band named after their love of the Orchard Inn on Spike Island (Avalen means “apple tree” in Cornish!). They bring a warm, homely brand of West Country folk music, blending Celtic classics with nautical tunes of the South West. With fiddles, banjos, guitars, and even a bouzouki, Avalen are taking Bristol back to the old ways… one jig at a time! 🎻✨
