The walk is a family friendly fundraiser with an easily accessible route around Bristol Harbourside, finishing at The Arc for refreshments and music. The route is estimated to take 1.5-2 hours to complete. Supporters are also welcome to meet us at The Arc from 3PM.

Olive Harvest Season is fast-approaching in the West Bank and Palestinians are asking for solidarity presence.

We know this is a time when israeli-backed settler attacks are at their worst and we need people to be present to bring visibility and solidarity to the fields.

The Palestinians have had no choice in the violence they have been forced to endure, and they need brave souls to stand on the right side of history and to stand in solidarity with them.

Avigail Abarbanel is the granddaughter of Jewish Holocaust survivors from Romania, born & raised in Israel & serving in the IOF between 1982-1984. In 1991, she moved to Australia, renouncing her Israeli citizenship in protest in 2001.

As a Psychotherapist for 27 years, Editor of the Anthology Beyond Tribal Loyalties: Personal Stories of Jewish Peace Activists, Writer of Substack Avigail Abarbanel’s Fully Human Essays, she has written extensively on Zionism, Israeli society and settler-colonialism, drawing on her clinical background to understand the psychological structures that sustain them.

On Monday 17 August at 8 am, the Kate of the Freedom Flotilla launched its voyage from Bristol harbourside to break the siege on Gaza.

Onboard, 12 activists will be hoping to bring everything from prosthetics to medicine to Palestine.

At the time of writing, official figures estimate roughly 73,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since October 7th 2023, including tens of thousands of women and children. 82% of all structures in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed.

Since the so-called ceasefire of October 2025, Israeli forces have killed more than 1250 Palestinians in Gaza. Despite increases in aid, upwards of two-thirds of Gaza’s population may face acute hunger by the end of the year.

In response to the news that kite flying has been banned in Gaza.... 🤯....could we have a worldwide initiative where we run as MANY KITE MAKING WORKSHOPS AS POSSIBLE in solidarity with the children in Gaza??? Make kites, go fly them, flood the internet...

Let’s go fly a kite 🪁 and it’s two fingers to the ever-so-unfriendly IOF.
