For the first time in British history, protestors could be sentenced as terrorists. After entering an Israeli arms factory in 2024 and destroying a shipment of weapons being used against Palestinians in Gaza, Fatema Zainab, Lottie, Ellie and Sam were convicted of criminal damage.

Judge Jeremy Johnson, kept secret from the jury that he had granted himself the right to sentence them as terrorists. Through political manipulation, this is the first case of terrorism laws being used to convict direct action. Let's end this before it begins.

Mobilise on June 12th at Woolwich Crown Court.
From 10AM - 5PM

Organise coaches or cars from your towns or cities, make banners, bring drums. The message will be loud and clear to Judge Johnson: drop the terrorism link.

EMERGENCY RALLY - TAKE TO THE STREETS🚨🚨

📍Cascade Steps, Bristol
🗓️ 30th April
🕕 6pm

International law has been breached.
Global Sumud Flotilla has been intercepted.
Bristol activist kidnapped.

The IOF has illegally boarded GSF vessels and aggressively abducted civilians on board. Among them, are 8 UK citizens, including our Bristol comrade, Ben.

This unlawful kidnapping of civilians in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, with alarming silence from our governments, is an assertion of israel’s impunity. From genocide to piracy in the Mediterranean, israel’s crimes must be stopped.

As the violence escalates, so must our response. Join us in the streets today ✊

Demand the safety of our comrades, an end to the genocide, and an end to UK complicity.

ABOUT:
Avigail Abarbanel considers why most of Jewish/Israeli society has embraced the utter destruction of Gaza with such undisguised enthusiasm.

Settler-colonialism is, by its nature, genocidal – but no one was prepared for the evident glee with which Israel’s citizen army set about destroying Gazan society after 7 October 2023. How do we account for this?

Avigail Abarbanel was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in ‘downtown’ Israel. She had a ‘very Zionist’ education and served in the IDF. She renounced her Israeli citizenship at the start of the Second Intifada, ‘motivated by a feeling of rebellion, indignation and anger mixed in with a lot of self-doubt’. Reading Avi Shlaim’s 1999 book The Iron Wall persuaded her ‘that everything I was taught and believed to be true was in fact a lie’.

She now lives in the Scottish Highlands, where she has a private practice as a psychotherapist. She blogs on Substack as Fully Human.

Her many books include Beyond Tribal Loyalties: Personal stories of Jewish peace activists (2011)

Despite already being dealt with by the judiciary, city council and police in 2023, the Charity Commission has suspended Abdul as Chair of Easton Jamia Mosque over a single social media post.

This followed further pressure from prominent Zionist newspaper, the Jewish Chronicle, renowned for targeting public figures who advocate for Palestinian rights.

Abdul Malik, Trustee of the Easton Jamia Mosque and Green Party Councillor for Ashley Ward, has been steadfast in his solidarity with those facing injustice for over two decades, speaking out against Israel’s genocide and advocating for the rights of Palestinian people.

Now it’s time for the community to support Abdul as he faces the same disproportionate persecution that we have seen inflicted time and again on those standing against violations of international humanitarian law.

This isn’t just about one member of our community, it’s about defending our rights, protecting our institutions, and uniting against attempts to divide or weaken our community under the guise of protecting it.
