Farewell to Vocalise at Picnic in the Park at St Werburghs Community Centre on 12th of September! 💚

Come say goodbye, grab a free magazine, and celebrate with us!

As Vocalise magazine comes to an end, we’d love to see our Ashley Ward community one last time.

We’ll have a gazebo set up at Picnic in the Park on Saturday, 12th September, and we’d love for you to drop by!

📖 What to expect at our gazebo:
Free copies of our past Vocalise magazines to take home and keep
A chance to pop in, say hi, and say goodbye to Vandna Hilary //Kabbo, Judith & Julia and volunteers

A space to share memories and celebrate everything we’ve created together
Come say hello, pick up a piece of local history, and help us give Vocalise the proper send-off it deserves.

See you there! ✨

Do you want to run a cafe in an amazing vibrant community space? If so get in touch… 🍵 🥘 ☕️

We are very sad to see Coffee Club close its doors today. We have thoroughly enjoyed having Lucy and the team be part of our community centre and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours. They will continue to trade from their sites by Paintworks and the Marina.

With that in mind, we are announcing the opening of the Tender for the Café at our community centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a business to operate from our busy and well-loved hub.

Our tender was a 2-stage application process:

Stage 1 - Expression of Interest (EOI) (Closing Sunday 17th August 2025)
Stage 2 - Shortlisting & Full Proposal Submission (by Sunday 31st August 2025)

If you would like to visit us in advance of submitting your expression of interest or have any other enquiries, please email Ella Bleszynska, Development Manager, on: [email protected].
