⚓ A Weekend of Learning, Achievement and Celebrations!🎖️🎉

This weekend, we had lots of our cadets away taking part in courses and developing their skills!

A few of our cadets headed to Weston for a busy weekend completing their First Aid at Work and Basic Marine Engineering
courses. 🩹🔧

We’re delighted to say that all our cadets passed! 🥳 They all worked incredibly hard, showed great dedication, and hopefully had a fantastic time along the way.

There was also time for a little celebration as we celebrated one of our cadets' birthdays while we were away! 🎂🎈

A massive well done to everyone who took part. You should all be really proud of yourselves!

⚓ BZ to all our cadets on a fantastic achievement! 👏🎉

Calling all former Bristol Adventure cadets!

National Cadets Week, takes place between the 5–11 October, and we'd love to hear from you about your memories of the unit and what Cadets did for you!

It doesnt matter if you left 6 weeks ago or 60 years ago, we'd love to hear from you!

From the skills you learned, the friendships you made or the confidence you gained, we want to know where your Sea Cadet journey has ultimately taken you.

Complete the sentence:

“I was a cadet, now I am…”

Please add your story with us in the comments and show the next generation of cadets where being a sea cadet can take you.

⚓️🇬🇧 Celebrating National Cadet Week!🇬🇧⚓️

Tonight our Junior Cadets at Bristol Adventure Sea Cadets got involved in celebrating National Cadet Week! 🎉

We spent the evening learning more about the UK Cadet Forces, the different services that make up the Cadet Forces, and the amazing opportunities available to young people who choose to get involved.

Our juniors took part in a fun and interactive session, learning about the 5 Cadet Forces, testing their knowledge, working together as a team and discovering just how much there is to being a cadet. ⚓️🪖✈️

It was fantastic to see them getting involved, asking questions, working together and, most importantly, having fun while learning!

National Cadet Week is a great opportunity to celebrate the thousands of young people across the UK who take part in the Cadet Forces, as well as the adult volunteers who give their time to support, teach and encourage them. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of our juniors and everything they get involved in. Tonight was a great reminder of why being a cadet is about so much more than just wearing a uniform — it's about learning new skills, building confidence, making friends, challenging yourself and creating memories. ⚓️💙

Happy National Cadet Week!🎉

⚓️ A Special Day for Bristol Adventure Sea Cadets ⚓️

A couple of weeks ago, our Commanding Officer and members of staff were honoured to be invited to HMS Flying Fox to attend their Annual Divisions.

It was a fantastic opportunity to witness the formal ceremony and celebrate the achievements of the Royal Navy Reservists, but for us, the highlight of the day was being officially affiliated with HMS Flying Fox. ⚓️🤝

Our affiliation marks the beginning of what we hope will be a fantastic relationship between Bristol Adventure Sea Cadets and HMS Flying Fox, creating opportunities for our cadets and staff to learn, develop and work alongside members of the Royal Navy Reserve.

We are incredibly proud to be officially affiliated with Fox and are really looking forward to developing this relationship further and seeing what opportunities the future brings. We look forward to working closely with the team at HMS Flying Fox and making the most of this fantastic partnership. 🇬🇧⚓️

A huge thank you to everyone at HMS Flying Fox for welcoming us and for including us in such a special occasion.

BZ to all involved! 👏⚓️

🍕 **Junior Pizza Night!** 🍕

Last night, our juniors had a fun and creative evening making their very own pitta pizzas! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

They started by making a pizza for themselves to enjoy, before getting stuck in and making some extra pizzas for our staff and senior cadets to enjoy too. 😋

It was a fantastic evening filled with creativity, teamwork and, of course, plenty of pizza! 🍕❤️ Well done, juniors! ⚓
