🎙️ STUDENTS, WE NEED YOU! 🎙️

We're looking for students to be guests on our brand-new podcast, Changes on Campus: The Student Mental Health Podcast.

This podcast will explore the different stages of the student journey through a mental health lens – from starting university and making friends, to managing academic pressures, navigating challenges, and preparing for life after graduation.

Whether you're currently studying, have recently graduated, or have a story, experience, or perspective you'd like to share, we'd love to hear from you.

No previous podcast experience needed – just a willingness to join the conversation and help create open, honest discussions about student life and mental health.

📩 Interested? Send us a DM for more information or email us at [email protected]

Please share this post with any students who might like to get involved!

As Mental Health Awareness Week comes to a close, we’re reminded that actions don’t have to be big to matter 🧡

Sometimes it’s showing up.
Sometimes it’s listening.
Sometimes it’s helping create a space where people feel heard and supported 🫂

At Changes Bristol, we see the power of community every day.

🧡 “Changes helped me through a really difficult period in my life.”

We’re proud of what this community has built together — but we need your help to keep it going.

If you’ve been thinking about supporting us, now is a great time 💌

💌This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re reflecting on the power of action and what happens when people come together 🫂

Because of supporters like you, Changes Bristol has become a place where people find connection, understanding, and hope 🌟

🧡 “The groups help you feel connected to others that understand what you're going through.”

💛 “Changes helped me through very hard times after coming out of hospital… I’ve made lifelong friends. For us it has been life changing.”

These aren’t just groups — they’re lifelines.

Please take action this week to help us keep these safe spaces going for everyone who needs them 💌

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week 🧡

This year’s theme is Action — and at Changes Bristol, action means community.

Over the past year:
💚 1,857 people joined our community
🌿 80 attended our wellbeing & nature courses
🚶 104 joined our Walk & Talks
💬 776 peer support groups were run with 5,133 attendances

Most importantly:
🧡 93.5% reported improved mental health
💛 86.6% felt less suicidal after attending our groups

“Without their support over the past year I wouldn’t be here.”

Your support helps us keep creating safe spaces where people feel heard, valued, and less alone.

🏃‍♂️ Just a reminder that this weekend Liam, our Service Manager, is running the Barcelona Marathon on Sunday 15th March for Changes Bristol!

Working at Changes Bristol, Liam sees every day how powerful peer support can be. Having lived with his own mental health challenges, he knows how life-changing it is to have a safe space where you’re heard and not judged.

That’s why he’s taking on 26.2 miles — to help keep our free, inclusive mental health support running for people across Bristol.

💚 Every donation supports peer groups that have no other funding and help hundreds of people each week.
