Global youth ambassador, Mr Rana Youzarsif Ali Khan, addressing international conference, Global Peace Let's Talk
International Dialogue 730, 16th of November 2023
International E-Symposium
Promoting Tolerance to Save Humanity
Dear Esteemed Attendees of the International E-Symposium,
I am Rana Yuzarsif Ali Khan, I want to thank the organisers for allowing me to speak here today in my role as a youth ambassador for human rights activism.
The recent events in Bristol, especially the October 29th protest for Palestine, have been a turning point in my commitment to the cause. Speaking in front of 30,000 people during the demonstration and addressing concerns about media reporting on Palestine outside the BBC were moments that reinforced the power of collective voices.
I believe that we all should speak up in the face of oppression, regardless of our age or background. I am ten years old and I can see that Israel’s actions are NOT OKAY. Israel has been allowed to kill innocent people and children because they have convinced the rest of the world that its very complicated. Let me tell you, NO, IT IS NOT COMPLICATED. I am ten years old and I can see it is very simple. Israel is killing innocent children and that is never ever ok for any reason under any circumstance. Israel must llSTOP. There must be a ceasefire and an end to the brutal occupation of the Palestinians.
Let us work together to bring positive change and work towards a future where compassion prevails over violence.
Thank you once again for this incredible opportunity. I look forward to engaging in meaningful discussions and learning from the collective wisdom present in this symposium.
