We are a Fishponds (Bristol) based charity providing supported training & employment for disabled people!

Using the creativity of gardening, cooking & crafts (especially in the winter months!), we provide continued, paid, sustainable & rewarding employment. These opportunities are incredibly meaningful for people with disabilities, who are often disadvantaged when searching for work.

Our intimate team of 10 (including 1 volunteer) work incredibly hard all year round 3 days/week, and we have a glorioussss time in the process 😜 ☕️ ☀️

Spring glorious Spring! 🌼🌱🌸🐰

The team have been busy bees over the last few months, preparing for the upcoming growing season.

1. Sweet tender forced rhubarb 🤤
2/3. Charles Dowding’s yeast slug traps 💫
4. Crocuses giving us life in early Spring 🌷
5. Tomatoes!! Already bursting from their pots, perhaps we were a bit premature with these but we couldn’t stop ourselves… 🍅
6. Painting our sheds & seating areas - bring on sage green! 💚
7. Zinnias popping up nicely in the warm sunshine of our office windowsills ☀️
8. A mouse nest discovered in one of our compost bays 🐭

Clearing the pond today lots of tadpoles still - although they are getting fat and growing tiny legs and there are already some tiny frogs 🐸 amongst a huge whopper hiding under the stones ! wildlife is important to us as it is a Natural way to control slugs 🐌 and snails!!
