This week, we celebrate International Nurses Day and recognise nurses everywhere for their dedication, compassion, and care.

We would especially like to thank the nurses working for PHASE in remote health posts, caring tirelessly for communities, often in difficult circumstances. Your kindness, resilience, and incredible skills make an enormous difference every day. 💙

An enormous thank you to everyone that has supported our Big Give Campaign!!

We are currently 88% of the way to our £20,000 target and have received an incredible 77 donations!

Donations will continue to be doubled until noon on the 5th May (or until the match pot runs out).

👉£20 (which becomes £40) pays for an antenatal session for up to 30 pregnant women. Preparing them for a safe and healthy pregnancy and birth.

👉£100 (which becomes £200) pays for a healthy baby competition. These competitions are used to demonstrate to mothers what healthy babies look like and enables nurses to identify malnourished babies.

👉£750 (which becomes £1,500) pays for the medicines needed to provide a quality health service for 6 months at one health post.

When Rijan became seriously ill, the nearest hospital was nine hours away.

In places like this, a local health post isn’t just convenient, it can be lifesaving.

WE'RE LIVE!!

Our Big Give campaign has officially begun, thank you to the PHASE Nepal team for launching the campaign.

This spring we’re raising funds to support three remote health posts in Rugin, Bichhya and Jair.

For many families, these centres are a lifeline providing essential care for mothers, children and the entire community, where access to healthcare is limited.
