CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS OF
THE ASSOCIATION OF FILIPINOS IN BRISTOL
PREAMBLE
We, the Filipinos and of Filipino-British origin residing in Bristol, England, wanting to form a strong union to preserve our cultural heritage, protect our mutual interest, improve our social and economic well-being and achieve better understandin
g among Filipinos and of Filipino-British origin, do hereby ordain and promulgate this Constitution and By-Laws:
ARTICLE I: NAME, ADDRESS AND NATURE
Section 1. The association shall conduct its activity within the territory of England (UK), but it may establish local branches as may be appropriate and when necessary. The association’s official address shall be the registered agent’s address 4 Minehead Road, Knowle, Bristol BS4 1BN. A Post Office Box may be used for the association of which access shall be given to the current officers. The association shall be charitable, civic, non-sectarian, non-partisan, non-profit, non-stock, and non-political. Section 5. The Association may join other domestic or international organizations if the aims pursued (by the latter) correspond to the purposes or objectives of the Association.
