We provide safe houses and support in the community for survivors of modern slavery. We also run the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline and work with individuals, communities, businesses, governments, other charities and statutory agencies to stamp out slavery for good. Our Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline is free, runs 365 days a year and is available in 250 languages. If you need help and advice or are concerned about something you've seen, call us now.

Join our upcoming webinars on spotting and responding to familial domestic servitude.

On Wednesday 24 June, we’re hosting two tailored sessions for professionals working in different roles:

🕝First Responder Professionals
11:30am–12:30pm
For those in frontline roles supporting potential victims.

🕝Non-First Responder Professionals
1:30pm–2:30pm
For those who may encounter signs of familial domestic servitude in their work.

Whether you work directly with individuals or in a supporting role, these sessions will help build awareness, confidence, and understanding of how to respond to modern slavery and familial domestic servitude.

Modern slavery cases in the UK have reached their highest level on record increasing by 41% in just one year.

This highlights a critical reality: modern slavery is not a distant issue, it is happening here, across sectors we rely on every day.

Understanding the risks is the first step toward preventing them. Stronger protections, better oversight, and informed action are urgently needed.

It's been one month since Unseen's Human First Summit and the conversations are still driving action.
