⭐️🚴‍♂️ PROPS Cycling Club Sportive 2026 – What a Success! 🚴‍♀️⭐️

A huge thank you to everyone who made this year’s PROPS Cycling Club Sportive such a fantastic event. It was wonderful to see so many riders taking part and so many volunteers giving up their time to ensure everything ran smoothly.

A special touch this year was that every rider and volunteer received a handmade postcard created by PROPS trainees.

The Cycling Club committee is currently working through the final figures and calculating the total amount raised. We look forward to announcing the final donation that the club will be making to PROPS.

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers – we simply could not run this event without your support, enthusiasm and hard work🙏

And, of course, a massive thank you to all the riders who took part. Without you, this event would not be possible. Your support and participation make all the difference💪🚴‍♂️

After some seriously wet and wintery miles, it’s safe to say our riders have well and truly earned the brighter days ahead!

Now, with spring arriving and summer finally in sight, the improving weather is clearly lifting everyone’s spirits. This week alone, we had 37 sign-ups across a range of rides, covering 30, 40 and 55 miles at a variety of speeds. It’s fantastic to see such a strong turnout and a great mix of abilities out on the road together.

Here’s to drier roads, longer evenings, and plenty more miles shared as a club. If you’ve been thinking about joining a ride, now’s the perfect time — we’ve got something for everyone.

❤️ 🚴‍♂️ PROPS Cycling Club 2025 🚴‍♀️❤️

What a fantastic year of Cycling! As well as a bunch of fun socials, the main one being our club dinner – a huge success and a brilliant night all round. Massive thanks to the committee for all the hard work behind the scenes to make it all happen and run smoothly 👏
We’re also incredibly grateful to Ellis Brigham, Cadbury House Hotel, BW and all of our other generous sponsors who donated raffle prizes – your support means a lot to the club and charity🙌

On the bike, it’s been a standout year. We’ve seen a huge number of individual achievements across the club 🤩– from first long rides and personal bests, to stepping up distances, conquering tough climbs, and riding consistently through every season. The commitment from our members, no matter the weather 🌧️☀️, has been outstanding.

A real highlight was our successful club sportive, welcoming over 100 riders and showcasing everything PROPS cycling club is about – a great cause, great routes, and a brilliant club atmosphere. Add to that an unforgettable club away trip to Majorca, and it’s clear what a special year this has been.

Throughout the year, some fantastic friendships have been formed both on and off the bike, which is what cycling is all about.

Thanks to everyone who’s been a part of PROPS Cycling Club this year – here’s to even more miles, memories, and achievements in the 2026! 🚴‍♂️💪
