Easter celebrations! 🐣

Our resettlement team, along with some amazing volunteers, hosted an Easter party in Yate. We had 72 people attend, with a wonderful mix of families from our communities.

We were supported by Healthwatch Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire who collected feedback about local health and social care services and ran a Japanese painting activity.

Other activities were run by our Ukrainian volunteers, including a Easter egg hunt which was enjoyed by both children and parents!

☪️ The Resettlement Partnership - ACH, Julian House and TCF, held a Eid event celebrating Eid al-Fitr.

👥 Over 100 people from our Resettlement communities joined us. We shared food, enjoyed a magic show, a bouncy castle, and arts and crafts.

⭐️ Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a special event!

This week we attended the Peace Feast in Avonmouth, organised by Bridges for Communities.

Peace Feasts bring people together around a meal, to listen to music, exchange stories and hear from guest speakers.

They celebrate local communities, help us to see the world through someone else’s eyes, and create spaces for friendships to grow between people from different backgrounds and experiences of life.
