A century of friendship shining bright,

We think of sisters we adore.

Across the globe our voices sing,
The bonds of guiding gently ring,
In many tongues, in many lands,
We join together, hand in hand.

A hundred years of hope and cheer,
Of shared ideas both far and near,
Today we pause, reflect, and see
The strength in our community.

And thank you to the volunteers —
For time, for patience through the years,
For every meeting, camp, and day,
You guide our dreams along the way.

Friendship’s flame in every heart,
Though we’re many, not apart,
Together in the guiding way —
Thoughts of peace on this great day! 🌎💭

If not taken by half term they will be donated to charity.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Giraffe Design & Build who refurbished our guide hut last summer.

The girls have massively enjoyed using the new space and the rangers have particularly loved the new space created for them to use.

Some of our wonderful Brownies and Rangers helped decorate the stars for the Keynsham Festive Trail this year... Can you find all 12? ⭐⭐

The Keynsham Town Centre Festive Trail is back, running from 15th November to 15th December.

✨ Twelve Shooting Stars have fallen over Keynsham’s Town Centre. Can you find them shining brightly in the shop windows?

Pick up a Star Trail passport from the Keynsham Town Council Office or the Library from 15th November and start searching for the stars.

Once you’ve found all the stars collect their letter and work out the hidden Christmas word or phrase. Don’t forget to pop in and ask the shop to stamp your Star Trail passport with their special Starry Stamp.

🎁 Drop your completed Star Trail passport into the Keynsham Town Council office by Sunday 14th December for a chance to win a prize!

Thank you to Girlguiding Keynsham District for decorating the stars on both sides with such delightful festive colours and designs.

The Keynsham Winter Festival is on Saturday 29th November, 12-6pm, you can enjoy festive activities and performances on The High Street, Temple Street, Market Walk, Riverside Square, The Library, The Space and The Leisure Centre, The Methodist Church and The Baptist Church.
