Downend Round Table We are just a bunch of guys aged between 18 and 45 years of age, who get out out of the house every few weeks to do cool stuff.

Round Table is all about trying a diverse range of fun activities that you wouldn’t normally do or have the opportunity to do as an individual, with a group of people from different backgrounds that you wouldn’t normally meet. You can learn all sorts of new skills, meet new friends, all while making a real difference to your local community. It’s not just local — it’s global, with clubs in more than 65 countries, on every continent on the world. We’re just normal guys local to Downend, some with families, some without. We aim to have a lot of fun but also to put something back into the local community. Ever been to the Downend Round Table Fireworks Display? That’s us and has been for 45+ years raising money for local charitable causes. If you would like to take advantage of this unique combination of elements that has the power to change lives, get in touch. You never know where it might take you.

Up next: Conkers!

It's time to get our knockers out! 😆

For those who haven't played before, the rules are simple: thread a conker onto a piece of string and take turns trying to smash your opponent's conker to bits. Easy in theory... painful in practice.

Will your conker be a champion... or crack under pressure at the first hit? 🏆🌰

Next Thursday we're rolling into action with a game of Zorb Football!

"What's Zorb Football" you ask?

Just your average game of football... if everyone was wrapped in a giant inflatable bubble, couldn't stop falling over, and spent more time laughing than scoring goals.

Expect big hits, bigger laughs, and absolutely zero chance of staying on your feet.

Want to get involved? Drop us a message and let's get the ball rolling!👀👀

⛳ Last Thursday, we headed out for a round of Pitch & Putt!

Expecting crazy golf? So were some of us. Sadly, there were no windmills, dinosaurs, or loop-the-loops in sight... just 9 holes of "mini" golf and varying levels of golfing ability. 😂

After 9 holes, Simon came out on top. Show off. 🏆

We somehow lost 1 ball and gained 3, so if anyone can explain that maths, let us know. 🤷‍♂️

There were some interesting techniques on display, including one shot that took a scenic detour via the golf course road. 🚗💨

Thankfully, we definitely got better as the evening went on... or at least that's what we're telling ourselves! By the final few holes, some of us were even managing to keep the ball on the course. 🎯

Safe to say this social was on par with our other Round Table events. Great fun, plenty of laughs, and another cracking evening in the books. 🍻

Want to get involved? Come and see what Downend Round Table is all about!
