Who stands for workers?
The Employment Rights Act finally passed in December. But while some of it is good, it is a "shell" of what workers need.
Meanwhile, last year the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) carried out just two thirds as many inspections as ten years ago.
Workers can’t rely on government to protect us. But we can rely on each other. ‘Collective bargaining’ improves wages, evens the distribution of money in society and creates safer workplaces.
